The National Museum of the Republic of Altai now holds the Ice Maiden in a display environment maintained at appropriate temperature and humidity.

The display is not continuous — the body is shown to the public only in limited periods, with restrictions designed to protect both the remains and the spiritual dignity that the community associates with them.
