Part Forty-Nine: Set-Off

The workshop note matured on the thirty-first of August 2025 and I did not have forty-two thousand one hundred dollars.

Martha Rindl got me a sixty-day forbearance, which she had no obligation to do and which she did by writing a memorandum arguing that a payment was visibly imminent, and which I found out about eight months later from somebody else.

And then it was over inside about ninety seconds, and not by anybody paying anything.
