They cuffed my father and Justin. Raymond shouted insults as they took his phone and briefcase. Samantha unsealed another document. “All accounts tied to your shell company are frozen by court order, and we’ve begun recovering assets bought with stolen funds.”

Stephanie lost the last of her color. “What assets?”

“The downtown apartment, the sports car, two investment accounts, and the commercial building on Main Street.”

“That apartment is mine!”
