And I watched the plastic container of banana bread sag slowly in her hands as her whole face changed.
First came confusion, her brow furrowing as she tried to understand why the contents of her private suitcase were spread all over the floor.
Then came something worse, a slow dawning look of absolute horror as she understood what it must all look like to me.
And then, climbing steadily up from her collar all the way to her hairline, came a deep, hot, mortified pink flush.
