And six is the two of them outside on a step at dusk with the light behind them, and behind the step there is a gate.

The gate sticks.

There is a piece of two-by-four propped against the left-hand post in that photograph, which is what I used for about five months in 2023 to keep it from swinging shut, before I had it fixed in the February.

So photograph six was taken before February.

And the succulent in photograph three died in the spring of 2022 and I moved that pot to the sill in about the June of that year.
