Daniel set Mia down but kept an arm around her. “We’re leaving.”
“You can’t leave in the middle of Parker’s party,” Vanessa said, alarmed.
Daniel gave one humorless laugh. “Watch us.”
Margaret stood. “I’m leaving with them.”
