People describe Ross as though he wanted something he had no claim to.
He had a claim.
He was a director of that company with a real fiduciary duty and about nine percent of the stock and he had been on that board for twelve years.
He also wanted her job, badly, and had for a decade, and made no particular secret of it.
Both of those are true, and the second one is why nobody listened to him, and the first one is why they should have.
