The CEO stated that the marketing department had gone rogue and launched a campaign in support of the LGBTQ community, which had led to a massive loss of business for the company. In response, the company has terminated all those involved in the campaign.

The root of the issue appears to be the use of a transgender person to market Bud Light, a domestic American beer that is well-known to rural folks as a staple in their diet. The CEO noted that this marketing strategy may have worked for some high-end craft beer brands, but it did not resonate with the company’s core consumer base. He revealed that most of Bud Light’s customers enjoy the beer as a treat on payday, while the rest of the week, they opt for cheaper alternatives such as Natural Light.

Despite Pabst Blue Ribbon’s status as the undisputed king of hillbilly beer, Bud Light was still hugely popular among many people, almost as essential as water. However, the recent drop in sales suggests that this is no longer the case. “I’ll just stick with my PBR,” remarked a local at an Alabama bar. “But I did buy a 30-pack of Bud Light for target practice.”

  1. If as stated, In response, the company has terminated all those involved in the campaign, then the company needs to go on a campaign and make that statement very bold in all its advertising.

    1. If Augustus Anhueser the 3rd would have admitted from the start that he signed off on it and was bowing down to ESG pressure… he might have been believable.

  3. The gay and transgender issue is being thrown in our faces everyday and people are sick of it. The gay population is a small majority, but you would not know it because their agenda is to stimulate as much media attention as possible. Reputable companies are going out of their way to promote this WOKE agenda. Despite that, the majority of America, which believes in conservative values and Christianity, are repulsed by the homosexual lifestyle. Country boys, good ole boys, farmers, truck drivers, cowboys, and beer drinkers aren’t too fond of gay issues. You mess with them, you “F” up.

You were scared of standing up and against those that have miss led you, you were scared into thinking you needed the LGBTQ community. Well you’ve found out what you really need to do was actually talk to your customers not some radical leftist. Maybe you could go into the target business turning your cans into flat pieces of metal with a bullseye, I’m pretty sure they’d sell.
