‘Dukes of Hazzard’ actor John Schneider stars in a new patriotic film despite opposition from Hollywood

John Schneider, the actor who rose to fame on the hit TV show “Dukes of Hazzard,” is making headlines again with his latest film, “To Die For.”

He’s the guy who starred in “Dukes of Hazzard” and is appearing in a new patriotic movie with a message for liberal Hollywood.

Well known for his work on “Dukes of Hazzard,” John Schneider has long been one of the few Hollywood celebrities who doesn’t hesitate to talk about his conservative beliefs. Now she’s proving it again as she takes on liberal Hollywood by starring in a new patriotic film that champions both free speech and the American flag!

Schneider discusses patriotic new film

In the recently released indie film To Die For, Schneider plays a soldier who defends his First Amendment rights after obtaining a court order to remove his American flag vehicle from a local high school. The fact that Hollywood no longer produces films of this nature only strengthened Schneider’s determination to play the lead role.

Schneider told Fox News that he became interested in this kind of storytelling after reading a story about a man who was pulled over for refusing to take down an American flag from his truck.

He stated, “[My wife and I] are strong supporters of our law enforcement and military.” So I decided the time had come to make a film about this man.

Since he “sees more and more people with the American flag flying in the back of their pickup trucks,” Schneider knew from afar that the film would be well received by audiences.

Schneider said, “I wanted to make a film about that kind of person, not the particular one who is willing to go to jail to exercise his First Amendment right to free speech.

The second thought was that this film must be released before the 2022 elections to inspire those who are reserved or silent for whatever reason to speak up. Regardless, the film had to be released on October 20th to give people enough time to see it before the November election.

Hollywood wouldn’t touch “To Die For,” Schneider knew

Schneider didn’t even try to approach a studio to make this movie because he was aware of how Hollywood works today. Instead, he produced it independently in 10 months with less than ten employees.

They discuss Hollywood as if it were an independent entity, he claimed. “Hollywood is basically just a line item on the globalist billionaires spreadsheet. Hollywood basically has to follow the guidelines. I have many friends in Hollywood, but I don’t really think they are “enough to accept much of what they present as fact. However, it owes its soul to the corporate store, to quote a very ancient song.

Schneider continued, “You have celebrity types who get paid a lot of money but really just do what they’re told.” “So there’s not a lot of room for independent thought in that model. The paradigm doesn’t leave a lot of opportunities for free speech. In my opinion, you really have to think outside of that model because it’s not going to change.”

Schneider made similar remarks in a previous interview last week.

According to Schneider, who spoke to Fox Business, “God bless their beautiful little souls, all celebrities owe their souls to the corporate store.” They are reluctant to express original ideas or opinions that differ from those of the general public.

“I’m not that naive. I’m aware that Hollywood wouldn’t support it. Anything independent doesn’t really support Hollywood,” he continued. They don’t want anyone to realize that they are really just a line item in the many financial portfolios of billionaires because their public persona is so egotistical.

Schneider believes that although the film has only been out for a little over a week, its message is already being received.

He laughed and continued, “One of my friends said that all decent people are angry.” But it also inspires, energizes, and encourages all the right individuals. So, to use a phrase from the automotive industry, “They shoot all eight.”

“Stop supporting something you oppose.

Schneider also offered some guidance to those who want to see more patriotic films produced in Hollywood.

He said, “Stop supporting anything you don’t agree with.” “Please don’t ever watch another one of my movies or TV shows or buy another record if what I’m saying right now offends you. Don’t at all. But if you do, please help us.”

“Don’t go [see] their movie if you see a celebrity out there saying something you just don’t like,” he said. “Don’t take their music seriously. Stop supporting the things you don’t like and start supporting the things you do. Your fans give you authority. Simply put, they don’t want you to know.”

But “To Die For” is more than just a patriotic film. It is a film about the importance of freedom of speech and the need to defend it at a time when it is under attack. As Schneider’s character says in the film, “The American flag is not just a piece of cloth. It is a symbol of our freedom.”

Now more than ever, we demand patriotic movies and television programs. Let’s hope Schneider’s new film gets enough buzz to make Hollywood studios recognize that the public needs more patriotic films.

And that’s a message that everyone can get behind regardless of their political persuasion. “To Die For” is a film that deserves to be seen and is proof that independent filmmakers can make a difference in Hollywood.
