How do you evaluate the performance of the new Samsung Galaxy S22+? I wanted to wait to review this smartphone until after it had been on the market for at least six months so that I could be sure that it was going to stand up to my rigorous testing.

The results were impressive, with battery life far exceeding what any of its competitors can offer an excellent camera features that allow you to capture photos and videos in various formats including 3D! I hope that you’ll find my Samsung Galaxy S22+ review helpful as you try to determine whether or not this new model from Samsung is right for you.

Introduction

Samsung has been a long-time veteran in making smartphones, but up until now, they haven’t quite been able to break Apple’s stronghold on not only smartphones but technology as a whole. Recently with new advancements in technology and a fresh perspective Samsung may have just changed that forever.

Now we are here today to discuss if their new flagship phone has everything it takes to end Apple’s nearly 10-year run as one of, if not the best smartphone provider on Earth. Let’s dig in and take a look at what is easily Samsung’s greatest phone yet; maybe even their greatest achievement as a company since winning that ill-fated legal battle with Apple for copying voice recognition software.

How does it look? Let’s start with probably one of Samsung’s greatest strengths, design. With a beautiful new edge-to-edge display and a sleek nearly bezel-less phone, Samsung has stepped out of its comfort zone and it has paid off big time. Not only does it look good aesthetically, but functionally as well.

Design

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ phone is a major improvement on last year’s model, with a beautiful design that’s both rugged and slim. It has an IP67 rating, meaning it can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water for half an hour without damage.

The 4K screen gives stunning resolution; you won’t believe how lifelike HD images and videos look on such a small screen! With sleek curved edges and a brushed metal finish, its exterior design makes it one of the most attractive phones on sale.

Despite its high-tech design, it has only one button on it. This makes navigation quick and simple – whether you’re playing a game or looking at pictures.

Samsung has made some drastic improvements to their build quality with model S22+. Due to its design, people often worry about dropping their phone, but Samsung has made sure that in most cases your phone won’t be damaged.

Build quality is also noticeably improved – there are no annoying squeaks or loose parts. Touchscreen accuracy is also better than ever before; it even works when wearing gloves in sub-zero temperatures!

Price

I see Samsung Galaxy S22+ costing $999.99 on Amazon 2022 but I believe it will be worth every penny. Why? Firstly, because it’s great and secondly, because very few smartphones come close to competing with its sheer power and functions (especially since iPhones are now limited to only a few hundred apps).

So for all you iPhone users out there who love Apple’s sleek design, I urge you to take a look at what Samsung has in store. Don’t forget that Google will update Android weekly and eventually we will have an Android 6 that makes your favorite apps run on such power!

You can’t really compare smartphones from different generations with one another, so we’ll focus on their individual strengths and weaknesses. If you want a simple phone that just makes calls, texts, and takes pictures then there are plenty of other options to choose from.

But if you want a do-it-all device that allows you to play games, stream videos, and even compete with your friends online, then Samsung Galaxy S22+ is ideal. Even now in 2022, it costs under $1000 – which many believe is still too much!

On a final note, if you are looking for a quality smartphone that doesn’t cost a fortune and which will last you years to come, then look no further than Samsung Galaxy S22+. Its combination of stunning looks and excellent functionality put it streets ahead in its field.

If you value your phone as an investment and want something that works hard as well as looks good then there is no question at all; Samsung Galaxy S22+ comes highly recommended by us at Envato Technology.

Performance

This device comes with an Exynos 2200(4nm), Octa-Core CPU, and Snapdragon SM8450 8 Gen 1 with 8GB RAM, and 128GB ROM that ensures smooth multitasking, so you can switch between apps with no lag time.

Its expandable memory gives you up to 256GB of space for your files, while its dedicated gaming chip helps boost performance when you’re playing high-quality games or using advanced apps.

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ is just as well-equipped for capturing amazing images and recording high-quality video. It comes with a 50MP back camera, which offers autofocus, dual-LED flash, and optical image stabilization. Additionally, you can take panoramic shots that turn out crisp and clean.

It’s also packed with features like a 10MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture and live filters to help your selfies look even better.

It comes with Android 12 out of the box, which has built-in Google Play Store support so you can download thousands of apps directly to your device.

This mobile phone also comes with built-in Google Voice Search, so you can find anything on Google right from your fingertips—whether it’s nearby restaurants or something more specific like a song title or artist name.

So you can get where you’re going and back, it has built-in GPS that works well with Google Maps. Its Wi-Fi makes it easy to find local hotspots so you can enjoy your favorite entertainment no matter where you are. To help keep your battery going for as long as possible, it comes with a fast-charging feature.

Display

Samsung’s new flagship phone, dubbed simply Samsung Galaxy S22+, is a device like no other. It boasts several features that current top-of-the-line phones do not have yet. It includes facial recognition software, which makes it perfect for security purposes.

This will let it get rid of fingerprints and PINs; you can literally just walk up to your phone with your face! Additionally, it has built-in voice recognition software that allows you to do just about anything with simple voice commands.

What’s more, it has 10 integrated cameras that cover everything from night vision to extreme close-ups. Now you’ll never have to worry about taking quality pictures in any situation! It can even read books aloud with a simple voice command and is one of the only devices on sale at launch time that supports 4K TV resolution.

Finally, it comes with flexible wraparound display technology that fits around your wrist like a watch! Its 2X flexible AMOLED 6.6 display and 1080x2340px resolution are unlike anything else on today’s market. What do you think about Samsung’s new smartphone? Software and apps

Other than that, it has an integrated 512GB internal memory, which is more than most laptops. This makes it perfect for photographers and artists looking to store large files. It also comes with 3 power adaptors so you can connect it to any electrical outlet around the world!

Overall, Samsung’s new flagship phone is definitely a step in a different direction from other smartphones on today’s market; but will it be worth your money?

You might think I’m joking about Samsung releasing a smartphone in 2022, but I’m not. They’ve already released prototypes for their next-generation smartphone lineup, including their upcoming S23 lineup (which includes 4 models).

One of these models is named S23+, and guess what it looks like? You guessed right—it looks exactly like Samsung’s current generation of devices (the S22), except larger.

In fact, most people will probably be able to purchase a phone looking like one of Samsung’s prototypes in 2022. That said, I believe that there are better ways for companies to make money than by releasing phones with inferior features every year just to keep up with Apple. My advice? Keep your current smartphone until it stops working! After all, what’re a few years in between friends?

Battery life

Unlike its predecessor, Samsung has kept up with all of its competitors in battery life. You can go two days without needing to charge it if you’re careful about your use, and maybe even 3 if you don’t push it too hard.

Of course, if you plan on using it for more than just simple things like texting and watching videos, battery life will drop to about a day-and-half or so. But that’s what chargers are for! Just make sure you charge it every night before going to bed!

With that said, It comes with 4500mAh battery life, and with 45W fast charging, it’s not much different from some other smartphones out there. But with a few tweaks here and there, it can be very similar. There are several apps out there that claim to boost your battery life by a significant amount, but they’re all a bit shady.

Unless you have money to burn and don’t care about anything else on your phone besides sending texts and watching videos, I would recommend saving those app purchases for something else! It’s not worth losing other apps for just one or two additional hours of battery life. Also, try not to use your phone as a hot spot if you don’t have to.

It will drain your battery faster than you might expect. If you are out and want to stream something or do anything else that requires a data connection, find somewhere with free Wi-Fi before turning on hotspot mode. You won’t need it long enough for it to kill your battery! And also make sure to keep it cool.

Samsung is working on heat sensors in their next line of phones that will turn off things like cellular data when they detect too much heat coming from your device, so let’s hope they fix whatever is causing those temperatures to spike up in our current generation!

Overall though, there isn’t much bad I can say about battery life other than wishing I could go two more days without needing to charge my phone again…but no one can control what God gives them right? Right?! Oh well.

Heat

Samsung states that unlike a regular LCD screen, which can become distorted or discolored at high temperatures, a Super AMOLED display should be unaffected at temperatures up to. This means if you want to take a selfie next to your barbecue grill in mid-summer, you should be able to do so.

Samsung does not make any guarantees about heat resistance under extreme circumstances; however, based on my personal experience using an S10+, I would not worry about damaging it in the normal summertime heat.

There have been many anecdotal reports of people leaving their phones outside in 110-degree weather and they come back with no permanent damage.

Samsung has made some noise in its advertising campaigns touting that its displays are heat resistant. There is a common misconception that since these screens can withstand high temperatures, they can be placed directly on an open flame.

Verdict

When you get a new smartphone, it’s like you’ve met your soulmate. You can’t stop touching it or thinking about it when you’re apart. And you’re constantly looking forward to spending time with it. The Samsung Galaxy S22+, in particular, is full of features that make long-distance relationships worth suffering through—or at least bearable.

It’s like those memes that ask Is it possible to be in love with yourself? (Yeah, you know what I’m talking about.) Okay, well it’s kind of like that. You’re constantly doing things with your new phone because you can’t stop thinking about all its cool features.

Samsung made several improvements on its previous iterations and included almost everything in a box as soon as you turn it on. It’s still lightweight, stylish, and classy—not something everyone can say about themselves…but I digress.

It’s got a fingerprint scanner. It’s got a 2K display. It even has VR compatibility and an auto-focus camera that actually focuses on you instead of your cat (we can hope). I could go on, but there are plenty of reviews out there with all kinds of nitty-gritty details about every function imaginable, so I’ll leave that to them.

What I will tell you is that it’s worth picking up your Samsung Galaxy S22+ as soon as possible, if you can afford it, or even on a credit plan if you’re going to take full advantage of everything it has to offer. So what do you think? Do you have any questions? Let me know in the comments below!
