During a severe winter storm, Bernard Perry, an 82-year-old man, went missing causing his wife to become extremely worried and contact 911 for assistance. In response to the call, Trooper Tyler Harrington quickly stepped into action to help locate Bernard.
Thanks to the quick thinking and efforts of Trooper Harrington, Bernard was found and brought to safety, ultimately avoiding a tragedy for his family. Despite the praise he has received, Trooper Harrington remained humble, stating that he was simply doing his job and that any law enforcement officer or civilian would have done the same in his position.
It’s important to recognize and commend the dedication and hard work of all state troopers who risk their lives to serve their communities and ensure the safety of all individuals. Their selfless actions often go unnoticed, but their impact is immeasurable, and they deserve our utmost respect and appreciation.
