It performs well across all three benchmarks although we did not notice any significant improvements between Geekbench scores and 3DMark scores.

The Nubia Z40S Pro is an interesting mix of power and design. It runs on a Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 (4 nm) processor and 18GB of RAM, which gives it more than enough power to handle anything you throw at it. The screen is clear and provides plenty of details with strong colors that are easy to read outdoors.
Photos look good on this screen with detail lost but nothing too noticeable. However, there is some color distortion when looking at photos in full zoom mode. There are three different memory configurations available: 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM or 18GB RAM + 1TB ROM.
If you’re going to be doing heavy lifting like watching Netflix or playing games all day long then I would recommend getting the higher-end model so that you don’t run into lag time waiting for things to load. All around the Nubia Z40S Pro is a great smartphone for its price range.

The phone includes a 64MP triple rear camera that takes good-quality photos with low noise. As for the camera quality, photos taken with this device came out clear and sharp with a high level of detail in most lighting conditions.
The only exception was when taking low-light photos but this is to be expected as there are limits to what any smartphone camera can do in these conditions. The autofocus on this device was fast, accurate, and reliable at both close-up shots as well as far away objects. That being said, it doesn’t do as well as more expensive cameras like what is found on the iPhone or Samsung phones.
Despite this, it does take solid shots and is overall a very dependable camera. It also has a 16MP front-facing camera which produces great selfies, even in poor lighting conditions. The camera on a smartphone is one of its most important features.

In terms of the operating system, the ZTE Nubia Z40S Pro runs on Android 12. At first, I wasn’t impressed with some of the UI changes made by Google in Android 12, but this software is much smoother and faster than older versions of Android.
Some aspects of the interface have been tweaked to make it more intuitive, which I appreciate. There are a lot of additional features and tweaks that can be unlocked by downloading apps from outside the Play Store as well.
From what I’ve seen so far, the camera on this phone is one of its best features. I’m very happy with my purchase so far because there haven’t been any major issues after two weeks of usage. It’s a good smartphone at an affordable price.
One con about this device is that it does not have facial recognition like some other smartphones in its price range. The features of this phone are what make it stand out.
