“At 71, Kirstie Alley Feels Fortunate to Have Spent Her Final Years with Grandchildren, Calling Herself ‘Blessed’ and ‘Lucky'”

Kirstie Alley was a famous actress, comedian, and model who had a successful career in Hollywood. Born in Wichita, Kansas in 1951, she began her career in the entertainment industry as a model before transitioning to acting. She has appeared in a number of television shows and films, including Cheers, Look Who’s Talking, and Veronica’s Closet.

The world was shocked when Kirstie Alley died on Monday, December 5, 2022, aged 71. Alley’s children independently announced her death on her Instagram page.
On their Instagram profiles, Alley and Lillie posted a picture of them riding a bike. She smiled brightly at the camera and the caption said she had died.

A similar announcement was made on Twitter, but it was just a copy of the words from Instagram’s caption. In the comments section, fans and fellow cast members showered Alley with love and admiration. After a short battle with cancer, she died quietly with her loved ones by her side, according to her daughters.
Her adopted children praised her as an incredible, resilient, and loving mother.

With her ex-husband Parker Stevenson, the actress adopted two children who thanked Alley’s medical staff for making their mother’s dying days more bearable.
After her children announced her death, condolences began pouring in from Alley’s friends, family, teammates and admirers. Many others mentioned the significant impact she had on their lives.

Before she died, Alley was a grandmother of three and thrived most when she was with her family. She kept talking about being a grandmother and how much she loved her grandchildren.

Her first grandchild was born in June 2016. To celebrate the birth of son Waylon Tripp Parker, Alley posted on social media. Included in the message was a picture of Alley’s son and grandson napping together.

Two months after the birth of her grandson, Alley shared a photo of him on Twitter with what appeared to be a large portion of his body covered by a diaper. Alley poked fun at her baby in a tweet by joking that she needed smaller diapers.

She often uploaded pictures of Waylon to social media and in 2016 shared a photo of the whole family celebrating Christmas. She joked about never changing out of her pajamas.

After her first grandchild was born in 2016, Alley gave birth to three granddaughters, the latest of whom was born just last year. She regularly uploaded photos of herself having fun with her family.
She loved showing her granddaughters to the world but kept her cool when she uploaded their photos, aware of the impact it could have on her family if the public insulted them.
“We live for THESE — we fight for YOU — children are our future,” she wrote with a picture of her grandchild.

The grandmother will never see her youngest granddaughter, who is only a few months old. With her children and grandchildren, Alley was absolutely thrilled. Grandma, in Alley’s words, is “happiness” and “happiness.”

Kirstie Alley was a talented actress and comedian who was also a devoted mother and grandmother. She valued her family and loved sharing her joy with the world. Her passing is a significant loss, but her memory will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched during her lifetime.
