The Camera Behind the Books
She looks at the front door for about three seconds — checking, the way you check — and then she puts her phone down on the dining table, face up.
She walks down the hallway toward her parents’ room.
She is out of frame for four minutes and eleven seconds.
At 2:08 she comes back into the living room with the bracelet in her right hand.
She does not hurry.
That is the part that I could not process on the first viewing and could not stop watching on the fourth.
