Justin Bieber’s Recent Health Struggles: Ramsay Hunt Syndrome Paralyzes Half of His Face and Forces Tour Cancellation

Justin Bieber, the well-known pop singer born on March 1, 1994 in London, Canada, has been in the headlines recently due to several events in his life.

Bieber achieved commercial success with his debut studio album titled “My World 2.0” in 2010, which debuted on top of the US Billboard 200, making him the youngest solo male act to top the chart in 47 years. The album also included the internationally successful single ‘Baby’.

The singer is also known for his relationship with singer and actress Selena Gomez, and he is currently married to American model Hailey Bieber.

In a recent video post, Justin Bieber shocked his fans by revealing that he had to cancel the Justice World Tour, which was announced days ago, due to a non-Covid-related illness.

The singer explained that he has Ramsay Hunt syndrome, caused by a virus that attacks the nerves in his ear and his facial nerves, resulting in facial paralysis. In the video, he showed how he was unable to move half of his face, and he explained that it had become progressively harder to eat, which was extremely frustrating for him.

He asked for prayers and understanding from his fans, as he was physically incapable of performing the next few shows due to his condition.

Bieber shared that he had done everything to get better, but unfortunately, his sickness was getting worse. He expressed his love for his fans and thanked them for being patient with him, promising to use this time to rest and relax until he is 100 percent fit to perform.

He also added that he was doing all facial exercises to get his face back to normal and that he trusted that this was all for a reason.

Justin Bieber’s condition is not the only health issue his family has faced in recent times, as his wife, Hailey Bieber, was urgently admitted to the hospital back in March with a stroke-like symptom.
