The family of Walt Disney is suing the Disney company for control over its creative direction, claiming that the company has strayed from its original values and vision.

The board has three more Disney movies on it.

The Walt Disney Company has been around for more than 90 years, and in that time the entertainment giant has seen its fair share of changes. However, the company’s current policies do not sit well with the Disney family, who feel that the company has lost its way. As a result, the family is now fighting for creative control over the beloved brand.

The Walt Disney Corporation Incorporated, with billions of dollars in assets distributed across all continents, is a huge organization. But in the end, everything is decided by the CEO and the board of directors, which consists of seven members.

The board, which still includes three members with the last name “Disney,” is now threatening to return creative control of the business to the Disney family that created the magic.

Walt’s great-grandson, George Disney, said: “My sisters and I would like to see some of the current policies reversed with a return to more sound principles. There is currently an arbitration going on as to who will run the business.”

Karen and Linda Disney, who have never been involved in the business other than being members of the voting committee, say they support George’s vision and are prepared to go to any length to steer the sinking ship in a different direction.

Longtime family ally Joe Barron, whose mother married Larry Disney not long after his brother Roy Disney dedicated the newly renovated Space Mountain to his daughter Tina in 1971, is the fourth person eager to cede control to the Disney family. Unfortunately, he died a week later.

With such a long history and years of dominating the children’s entertainment industry, Disney may need a change. I really hope it works.

but one thing is clear: the desire of the Disney family to take creative control of the company shows how much the brand means to them and to the world. Only time will tell if their efforts will be successful.

No one is addressing the Elephant in the room. There is a Disney heir who is Trans.
And this is the Woke diversion that has caused the company the problems it’s experiencing today. The radical course change has doomed the company. They must return to traditional values if they wish to survive.

  2. I agree the New Disney would leave Walt and Roy turning in their graves. Sound principles is exactly what you need. It’s time to bring back the Magic to Disney. Bring back the wholesomeness to the movies. Get more creative people that can actually create some real animation again. The changes that have been made in a last couple years have left nothing but sour taste in my mouth. I loved Disney as a kid. I loved Waltz story of how no banks believed in him, but he worked hard.

A Disney film is what you turned on to make you a imagine the unimaginable. To forget the troubles of the world today.

One of my favorite rides was Mr. Toads Wild ride? I was a Southern California resident for over 4 decades, and we had passes to go everyday. I would take my Autistic children with me just to see the fireworks at night. I loved Country Bear Jamboree and Splash Mountain.

I owned nearly every movie in VHS, Blu-ray 4K. We recently have switched the entire collection to steal books. We have all the classics. I have to tell you I can’t stand the way. The story lines have been changed to modernize the classics. Walt would never do that? He would never give in to this radical left movement. He would never remove all the family values from every movie. My children are huge fans as well. They had pretty much every Disney costume you can imagine. I have boy/girl twins so we would have the princess and the Prince of pretty much everyone of the annimation movies. In fact I still have them for my grandchildren.

I pray that you can get back to your roots that made Disneyland the place to go.
And the importance of Disney to all American Families.

The changes that you have made have made me. No longer want to see any of Disney some movies especially these live action ones. There’s an old saying. Don’t fix something that isn’t broken. Get back to the foundation of Disney. Get back to the strong roots that Walt and Roy created. Forget all the nonsense of trying to please everyone. You’re never going to be able to succeed.

  3. Really hope the Disney family gets control back. It will be interesting to see what actions they take if they do get control back.

  4. This is very good news. The woke changes that have been put in place at the Disney destinations have not set well with the family values of the majority of visitors . I speak for many who are afraid to share this. I, like many will not return to Disney as it stands now. Walt Disney must be turning in his grave.
    Peace.

  5. I wish them luck in bringing the company back to its original wholesomeness. This WOKENESS B.S. is ruining a once great legacy of a wonderful mans dream !!

  6. Tucking Taggots

This whole thing with taggot pride and booty month needs to end, why are you celebrating people who like to shove stuff up their wazoo.

The radical, loony left has nearly ruined the Disney name (as they try to do to everything decent and wholesome in the world,) but they haven’t destroyed it – not yet.

So this is extremely good news, and I wish the very best to the Disney family in their efforts to return the Disney name to its former greatness.

I know they’ll have the best lawyers and the support of the overwhelming majority of the world’s people who have loved the Disney name for generations, in their efforts to return the name of Disney to its rightful place in society.

  8. I used to love Disney for my kids. But now the Disney of today has become a cesspool. Disney was based on wholesome family fun. Not this woke LGBTQ+ crap they are trying to shove down our kids throats. Indeed Walt would be flipping in his grave. Are you sure those are earthquakes and not Walt and his brother flipping in their graves. The very people he banned from his company in the 50’s are now running and ruining his company.

  9. Maureen Clanton

New management, new direction will allow Disney to renegotiate their position with the State of Florida and stop 🛑 the bleeding, The present board is so busy with lawsuits against 99%of the population for less than 1% of the population they are losing longtime customers.
